Sweet Bread Strata Recipe

- 8 cups cubed sweet bread day-old works best
- 6 eggs large
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
Add the cubed sweet bread to the mixture and gently stir to coat all pieces.
Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to allow the bread to absorb the liquid.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
