Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sourdough Starter active and bubbly
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs beaten
  • ¼ cup Butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your waffle iron.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sourdough starter, flour, milk, sugar, and salt until smooth.
  3. Add the beaten eggs and melted butter to the mixture and whisk until combined.
  4. Just before cooking, add the baking soda and stir to combine.
  5. Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
