Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 2 cups Water or Broth
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Spinach, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 egg Egg, fried or poached

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. 2. Add rolled oats and water or broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. 3. Stir in chopped spinach and soy sauce. Cook until spinach is wilted.
  4. 4. Serve oatmeal in bowls, topped with a fried or poached egg.
