Sausage Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole
A hearty breakfast casserole with sausage, hash browns, and cheese. Perfect for a weekend brunch or holiday breakfast.

- 1 lb breakfast sausage crumbled and cooked
- 1 package frozen hash browns thawed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 6 eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook and crumble the sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the hash browns, cooked sausage, and 1 ½ cups of shredded cheese.
In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour over the hash brown mixture and stir to combine.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the casserole is set.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
