Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add flour to the sausage drippings and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk, salt, and pepper. Cook until thickened. Return sausage to skillet and mix well.
  5. In a large bowl, whisk eggs. Add shredded cheese and mix well.
  6. Cut biscuit dough into quarters and place in a greased baking dish.
  7. Pour egg and cheese mixture over the biscuits. Top with sausage gravy.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until eggs are set and biscuits are golden brown.
