Main Ingredients
- 1 head Romanesco cut into florets
- 200 g Mushrooms sliced
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 4 Eggs beaten
- 1 cup Grated Cheese Gruyère or Cheddar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 Pie Crust pre-made or homemade
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, salt, and pepper.
Spread the Romanesco florets and sliced mushrooms evenly over the pie crust.
Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables.
Sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden brown on top.
Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
