Praline Pecan French Toast Casserole

Main Ingredients
- 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Praline Topping
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoon light corn syrup
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Arrange the bread cubes in the dish.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, half-and-half, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Pour evenly over the bread cubes. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the praline topping by combining the butter, brown sugar, pecans, corn syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a medium bowl. Spread the praline topping evenly over the bread mixture.
4. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the casserole is set. Serve warm.
