  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup brown sugar

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, brown sugar, and water.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Let it cool slightly before serving.
