- 2 cups Steel-cut oats
- 4 cups Water
- 2 cups Milk
- 2 large Apples, peeled and chopped
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ cup Brown sugar Optional, for serving
1. Add all ingredients to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
2. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours, or until the oats are tender and creamy.
3. Stir well before serving. Add brown sugar if desired.
