  • 1 package frozen hash browns thawed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chopped cooked bacon
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the hash browns, 1 ½ cups of cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, bacon, green onions, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheese on top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
