Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Pie crust pre-made or homemade
  • 4 slices Bacon chopped
  • 2 cups Leeks sliced
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 4 Eggs beaten
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese shredded
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
  3. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, cook leeks until tender.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spread leeks and bacon over the pie crust. Pour egg mixture over the top. Sprinkle with shredded Gruyere cheese.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
