- 2 cups grits
- 1 pound sausage cooked and crumbled
- 6 eggs beaten
- 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the grits according to the package instructions.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked grits, sausage, eggs, cheese, milk, salt, and pepper.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
