Chicken and Dumplings Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Chicken Breast cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Carrots sliced
- 1 cup Celery sliced
- 1 cup Onion chopped
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 1 cup Flour for the dumplings
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt for the dumplings
- ½ cup Milk for the dumplings
1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned.
2. Add the carrots, celery, and onion. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
4. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk until just combined.
5. Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling mixture into the simmering pot. Cover and cook for 15 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through.
