  • 1 pound breakfast sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 6 eggs beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bread cubed

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Add cooked sausage, bread cubes, and 1 ½ cups of cheese to the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
  4. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with remaining cheese.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until set and golden brown.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
