Asparagus Mushroom Strata

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Asparagus trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 8 oz Mushrooms sliced
- 1 cup Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 8 cups Bread cubed
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese shredded
- 2 cups Milk
- 6 Eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, sauté asparagus, mushrooms, and onion until tender. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
In a large mixing bowl, combine bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, and shredded cheese.
In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, salt, and pepper. Pour over the bread mixture and stir to combine.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until set and golden brown.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
